View larger: Overview of Per's prototype screens, labeled start page, contact card, medication services, inbox, records, and start page for acting on someone's behalf (ombud), in several versions.
  • View larger: Design review: reminders (2014, in Swedish): The built Reminders page with Per's pink notes: more space between content types, link labels that don't follow the brand, and dates better written out as “1 March”.
  • View larger: Web booking checked against the prototype (2015, in Swedish): The built “Boka tid” (book an appointment) page in a test clinic, with Per's blue notes where it differs from the prototype: the print button too far in, text too large, the wrong font in the button. The tester's name is hidden.
  • View larger: Remote usability test with Loop11: Loop11 results for the task “Boka en tid”: 79% success, 20% fail, 1% abandon, an average of 6.8 page views and 207 seconds.

From 2011, via Valtech: a complete review of minavardkontakter.se – the e-services where people log in to contact their healthcare – as part of Virtuell Portal 2.0, the next version of 1177 Vårdguiden's e-services: the start page, booking appointments, logging in, and acting on someone else's behalf.

  • Mina hälsotjänster (November 2011 – July 2012), as subcontractor to Valtech: after the analysis and concept phase in step 1, I worked in team Mikro in step 2 (from December 2011), building pilot services in a new version of minavardkontakter.se – in the project's own words, “a first step in rebuilding the MVK plane while it is in the air” – while another team worked on a holistic concept for the future.
  • Together with Anna Leckström I drew up the project's backlog of user needs as user stories – “As a citizen I want to … so that …” – from seeing all my current cases and renewing prescriptions to knowing how my information is used and helping relatives with their e-services.
  • Interaction design and prototypes for the logged-in start page, messages, records and medication services, together with a development team of about ten people working in Scrum.
  • The “ombudsfunktion”: how a guardian can act on behalf of their child once logged in.
  • Workshops, check-ins with a reference group, and user testing – including a remote test with Loop11 where about 90 people tried to book an appointment and 79% succeeded.
  • Later, as the booking service was built (2014–2015), I reviewed the implementation screen by screen against the prototype – layout, typography and WCAG requirements for content that loads dynamically.
