View larger: Illustration “Invånarens väg genom automatiserad symtombedömning”: entry, automated assessment, automated referral and care contact by voice, video or chat – with the steps understand the possibility, understand and be understood, trust the advice, self-care, prepared for the next contact, right level of care.
  • View larger: System map: care flows today: Today: a patient starts by phone or online; referral happens verbally and it's up to the patient to follow the advice or not.
  • View larger: System map: new digital, guided flows: The future: the symptom guide and online waiting rooms guide the flow all the way to the right care, with the patient's information following along.
  • View larger: 1177's e-services today: The problem: people dip into separate e-services – booking, video meetings, records, prescriptions, Stöd och behandling – and struggle to get an overview or move between them.
  • View larger: A concrete example: How booked appointments from the web booking could show up inside Stöd och behandling, instead of building the same function twice.
  • View larger: The vision: When patients can move easily between services based on their own needs, they get quality-assured tools that solve their problem efficiently.
  • View larger: Target picture: Sketch of a shared “recently used services” bar across 1177's e-services.
  • View larger: The overall map: A detailed system map: from 1.177.se and regional entrances, through log-in and automatic symptom assessment and referral, to waiting rooms and communication with care staff by chat, video, image and booking – with the national services underneath and the regions' own channels on the right.
  • View larger: Four user journeys: Betty (urinary tract infection), Fabian (breathing problems), Isabel (acute stomach pain) and Leila (long-term sore throat), each with a short story and their path step by step through phone screens – from searching or getting a text message to reaching the right care.

  • “Sammanhållen integration mellan tjänster” (2018): why people get lost between 1177's separate e-services, alternative ways to connect them, and a vision where patients move easily between services based on their own needs.
  • System maps of care flows (2020): today, referral is verbal and up to the patient; in new digital flows the symptom guide and online waiting rooms guide people to the right care, with their information following along.
  • Projects in the program include the symptom guide, images and video in the advice line, and self-sampling for covid-19 – each with its own card – as well as requirements for a chatbot, a new interface and new channels for the advice line, and the UX framework (UX-ramverket).
  • Films to explain and agree on the program: a walkthrough of the overall flow, a visualized roadmap, and a scenario followed from first sketch (May 2019) to finished film.
